AJ Safety Docs — Last updated: 22 July 2026
AJ Safety Docs ("we", "us") provides an AI-assisted tool for generating Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) documents for the UK construction industry. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights regarding it.
When you use the form to generate a RAMS document, we collect:
We do not require an account or ask for your name, email, or payment details to use the beta tool.
We process this data based on legitimate interest — providing the service you've directly requested and improving it. Feedback is provided voluntarily and processed for the purpose of improving the service.
To generate hazard content, only the information necessary to generate the requested RAMS content is sent to Google's Gemini API for AI processing. Google's own privacy policy governs how they handle this data in transit. We do not sell or share your data with any other third party for marketing purposes.
Our infrastructure is hosted on Railway (application) and a managed PostgreSQL database, both of which store the data described above securely.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you submit. While no internet service can guarantee absolute security, we aim to keep your data secure using industry-standard hosting and encrypted connections (HTTPS).
During the beta programme we retain project data only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate, improve and support the service. Data that is no longer required will be securely deleted. You can also request deletion at any time (see below).
You have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email us at aj.safetydocs@gmail.com. We aim to respond to privacy requests within one calendar month.
This tool does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Any technical identifiers used are strictly necessary for the form to function (e.g. your project's unique link).
AJ Safety Docs assists with drafting RAMS documentation. Users remain responsible for reviewing, verifying and approving all generated content before use. AI-generated content should always be reviewed by a competent person before being used on site. The generated document does not replace the judgement of a competent person or any legal obligations under UK health and safety legislation.

This is a beta product under active development. This policy may be updated as the service evolves; material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
